Myrties Beach
Myrties is a small holiday destinations which is on the west coast of Kalymnos, approximately 8 km from Pothia. Myrties in the middle is the harbour town with the quay which the boats to the neighbouring islands of Telendos and Leros leave from. The beach in Mirties is somewhat smaller, approximately 100 m long and with pebbles, but also has numerous small tavernas and bars. Just outside Mirties is a 50 m long sandy beach, Melitsahas. The sea around the island is clear and clean with loads of fish - perfect conditions for snorkelling .
Emborios Beach
It's a serene beach with pebbles and scattered rocks, 24 km north of Kalymnos
Arginonda Beach
About 14 km from Pothia, along the newly constructed coastal road. A quiet sandy and pebbly beach tucked in at the head of the Arginonda inlet. A pleasant ride for the more adventurous and experienced bicycler along the newly paved coastal road
Platys Gialos
About 5.5 km north west of Pothia, near Linaria. With a small and very pleasant outdoor taverna over it, the beach of Platys Gyalos is a real gem
Linaria Beach
The picturesque sandy beach of Linaria is another beach close to the village of Panormos. It is also at a short walking distance from the beaches of Kandouni and Platis Yialos. It is quieter than Kandouni Beach and has a fine beach and crystal-clear waters. A huge rock is emerging from the sea, right in the middle. Fine fish taverns and cafes can be found nearby the beach and accommodations are available at Panormos or at Kandouni

Kandouni Beach
The long sandy beach of Kandouni is located about 5 kilometres north-west of Pothia, at a short walking distance from Panormos. It is the favourite beach of the locals and can get quiet crowded sometimes. The beautiful monastery of the Cross is overlooking the beach. Accommodations, taverns and cafes are surrounding the beach; more can be found in the village of Panormos (also called Elies). The bus leaving from Pothia stops regularly at Kandouni
