Ixia Beach
Very windy the most of the time. Ideal for wind surfing and sea sports. Trianta Beach is in front of the multi-floors Rhodes hotels and conventions centers. |
Kolympia Beach
The approach to Kolymbia beach is along a straight road lined with mature eucalyptus and sprinkled with hotels and apartments. The resort itself has a picturesque rocky cove and attractive sandy beach backed by low rise hotels and apartments. There are boat excursions from the tiny harbor |
Tsampika Beach
Tsampika beach is one of the most popular beaches in Rhodes island. Sandy, calm, blue/green sea between Kolymbia & Lindos. |
Kiotari Beach
Kiotari is a beach resort backed by all-inclusive hotel complexes. It caters for nearly all types of water sport, jet ski, waterski ,banana boats, pedaloes, canoes, windsurfing etc. The resort itself is very isolated with few shops and tavernas. When the wind is in the wrong direction it suffers smells from a nearby sewage plant. |
Charaki Beach (Haraki)
Here is a quiet, small fishing port is overlooked by the ruins of Feraklos castle - one of the first on Rhodes to be held by the Crusaders. A dull promenade separates a row of holiday chalets, shops and some decent tavernas from a long crescent shaped shingle beach. There is no village as such but plenty of tourist facilities and lots of apartments and faceless low-rise hotels. |
Vlicha Beach
This pleasant little beach just before Lindos has a sun bed for everyone, while the sea here deepens smoothly and gradually. It's big enough not to become crowded, but not too immense and appeals particularly to people staying in Lindos who want to escape from the crowded central beach. |
Ialyssos Beach
The scenery is more or less the same, Wherever you may find yourself along the Ialysos shoreline: the heach is highly organized with the gardens and swimming pool just behind and at the rear the multi-storey hotels with their tennis courts and other facilities.
It is an ideal place for those who love swimming, and for surfers as well as there is often a good wind. |
